Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment. And FREE stuff is great news too!
Recycle personal items.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it - whether you are here to find and item or recycle one, you are very welcome. To be able to recycle personal items is also fantastic for those people out there who have less, but need more.
The only charge for an item is postage and packing (and that should be charged at cost), unless of course you find the item you are looking for within your local area. Once you have registered on the site and entered the first part of your postcode (or zipcode in the US), you will be able to look for items within your local area.
A national UK database of free stuff !
Unlike other sites, this one is nationwide (or even international if choose 'all countries' from the country list!), so once it has been up and running for a while, it will become a huge database of FREE stuff and items. So if the item you are interested in isn't available today, please come back again another day, or even better, add a 'wanted' listing and somebody might well be able to offer you the very thing you are after.

The rules are simple - everything is FREE!
